Call for breastmilk donors To sum it up, there’s a baby in Minnesota whose Mama died a week after giving birth. The father, knowing his wife wanted the baby to be breastfed, is looking for donors to supply breastmilk for his newborn. MckMama amazingly is organizing a milk share to make this happen for the family.
Now on to fluffier things

Guerilla Mama Medicine is looking for essays, blog posts,poems,art, etc from mothers, friends and allies of mothers, doulas, midwives, birthworkers, childbirth educators, childbirth advocates relating to experiences with pregnancy,childbirth & motherhood.
The challenge is:
For one hour each day the week of September 20-26 work on making clothes for kids.

Baby Mario was “accidentally” circumcised. This isn’t one of those mistakes hospitals make sometimes with newborns, like giving formula to a baby who the parents want exclusively breastfed. This is a huge mistake that can’t ever be undone or reversed. It’s likely baby Mario will end up with a nice chunk of change to put in a college fund but it doesn’t get back the severed foreskin.
